The Moon lies 238,855 miles away from Earth. The Moon is within your reach thanks to the Android browser and iOS game “Little Alchemy 2”.
The game’s goal is to allow players to create elements, starting with the building blocks of life: earth, air and fire. From there, they can move on to complex life, solar bodies and extrasolar systems.
You can find more information on Little Alchemy 2’s ‘how-to-make’ guides: Electricity and Rain, Sky, Lizards, Cloud, Human.
The Moon is the easiest and most primitive solar body that you can make in the game.
Start by creating and gathering other elements. You have nine options to combine elements to create Moon.
Nevertheless, there is only one option that works best.
These steps will show you how to make the Moon element the easiest way possible:
1. Create a Planet
Although the game gives you Earth at the beginning, this element does not represent the planet. You can build a Planet element by using any of five combinations of elements, as explained on the HTML2 Hints website.
To make this method the fastest, you must first create Land and Continent:
- Earth + Earth = Land
- Land + Land = Continent
To create a Planet, drag a Continent from the sidebar.
This step will bring up the Planet element icon with the phrase “A star dancing” underneath it. It’s not intended to look like the planet Earth, but it does represent a planet.
It is possible to create a Planet by combining Earth, the Sky, Space or Solar System elements, or a Continent and an Ocean. However, you must have these elements in your possession.
2. Cause a Massive Collision
One theory that the Moon formed is that the solar body collided with Earth. The chunks and pieces of Earth’s crust were then ejected into space, and gravity caused the Moon to form over time.
By combining two elements, you can achieve a similar result. Drag and drop the Stone elements onto the Planet. The Moon element icon is displayed on the screen, with the words “A planet groupie” underneath it.
You can quickly create the Stone element if you don’t have it yet.
- Earth + Fire = Lava
- Stone = Lava + Air
The Stone element icon displays the words “Breaker for bones and other valuables”. There are other ways to create a Stone from Earth. The same result can be achieved by combining Earth with pressure or solid.
3. Other Ways to Make Moon
The Moon element is naturally associated so many other elements, that the creators “Little Alchemy 2” have made similar associations in-game.
You can create a Moon, for example, by combining the Night element and Planet, Stone or Earth.
Folklore used the comparison of the Moon and cheese to make Moon. You can combine the Night or Sky elements with your Cheese element to create Moon, if you have it.
Sky is the simplest way to make the Moon. Sky is a great alternative to the traditional method of making the Moon. Sky is an important building block that you can use to create many other elements.
Create it using the following elements:
- Planet + Fire = Sun
- Sky = Sun + Atmosphere
The screen displays a sky icon with the words “The Domain of Clouds.”
You don’t have to worry if you don’t already own Atmosphere. All you need is to combine the Air and Planet elements.
The screen shows an icon of the Earth, with an atmosphere bubble surrounding it. It is captioned with “The layer gas surrounding our planet that protects against various invisible space horrors.”
Once you have Sky, it’s easy to make Moon. Drag and drop the Planet icon onto it.
Why is the Moon necessary in “Little Alchemy 2?”
Many scientific and cultural ideas can be attributed to the Moon in the real-world. The game’s world-building rules are the same.
The tides created by gravitational forces between the Moon & the planet can’t be achieved without the Moon. Also, the Moon plays an important role in the formation and maintenance of eclipses.
The Moon and some animals are associated with the night sky. The Moon’s presence above the stars is one reason why humans have sought out the stars.
The space program has led to many scientific discoveries and the development of cutting-edge technologies. Many religions have the Moon as an important part of their religious beliefs.
You can create 12 unique elements using the Moon element from each of these areas:
- Moon + Ocean = Tide
- Moon + Sea = Tide
- Moon + Sun = Eclipse & Sky
- Wolf = Moon + Animal
- Moon + Bird = Owl
- Moth = Moon + Butterfly
- Moon + Sky = Night
- Moon + Time = Night
- Telescope = Moon + Glass
- Moon + Star = Space
- Moon + Human = Astronaut
- Moon + Car = Moon Rover
- Moon Rover + Electric Car = Moon Rover
- Chang’e = Moon + Deity
- Chang’e – Moon + Elixir Of Life
You can also check out other combinations
You can now create and collect more fun, fascinating elements by having Moon and the other elements that go with it. You can make a Werewolf by adding the Human element to Wolf.
Additional elements can be combined with Wolf to create Bones, Cages, Caves, Dogs, and Fox.
Even a mythical Hellhound, Fenrir or Hellhound can be created. Blue sharks are known as the “wolves of sea”, so you can create Shark by combining Wolf and the Sea or Ocean elements.
Little Alchemy 2 offers so many combinations of elements that you could spend hours exploring them and their fascinating relationships with real-world counterparts.
