Fallout 76 Leveling Guide: 8 Ways To Level Up Fast 2021

3 Mins read

These methods can help you speed up the leveling of your Fallout 76 character to reach the endgame content.

Fallout 76 is a fantastic game that offers a huge map to explore.

Only problem is that you must be at least 50 to fully explore the map.

You risk being destroyed by high-level enemies on different areas of the map.

This is exactly what happened when I tried to advance through the main campaign. I was unable to go very far without encountering enemies at a level that was way beyond my ability.

Before I could move on to the next campaign, I had to invest some time in leveling up.

Guess what? Leveling is more fun than playing the campaign.

These are some of the methods that I still use to level up Fallout 76.

1. Get some sleep

Before you start playing the game, get some sleep. Sleep until you get the alert. This will give you a slight 5% increase in XP.

Although it may seem insignificant, this is an opportunity to gain bonus XP.

2. Lunchboxes:

Lunchboxes offer another way to get an amazing XP boost. You get 25% Very Well Restrained XP bonus when you open a lunchbox. It can be stacked up to four times.

You will receive a +100% XP bonus if you open four lunchboxes at once. It caps at 75% bonusXP, so don’t open more than three boxes at once.

The entire process will take just over an hour. It will take you more than an hour to complete the route.

You can get lunchboxes for free by completing the Seasons. You can earn a 200% bonus XP if you wait for the Double XP event to use your Lunchboxes.

3. Farming the DMV

After you’ve had a good night’s sleep, open some lunch boxes (if any), and then go to the DMV building to use the DMV ticket machine. The Charleston Capitol Building houses the DMV.

This is a fun repeatable mission which will bring you waves of ghouls if you don’t have the mission. These ghouls appear to be people who were waiting at the DMV for the nuclear explosion.

This is an excellent spot to farm XP. Simply enter the DMV building to start the Number Calling System. Start with Department B, then move on to C.

You’ll get a lot of XP. You can then explore the building by entering through the door to the right. You will find more ghouls, including one that is legendary.

Beat them all, then log off the server and log in again. Keep going until you reach the highest level.

4. Plan Your Route

This map was created by Twitter user Angry Turtle. This map shows you the best places to go in order to earn XP from defeating enemies.

It is very easy to use and shows you the type of enemies and the amount of XP that you can get from them.

5. Workshops: Fight the Enemy Waves

There are no shortcuts or tricks to earn XP quickly in Fallout 76. It’s best to complete missions and take down enemies.

Fallout 76 is a great way to earn XP, but it’s not possible to kill all your enemies simultaneously.

It is time-consuming and tedious to travel from one place to another to kill enemies. Instead, free some Workshops.

You will be asked to defend liberating workshops against intruders when you start them. Your workshop will be attacked by different types of enemies, one at a time. You just need to sit down and take them out.

It is very simple. Be aware of other players who may join you in PVP.

You can unlock 2 to 3 workshops at once so that you can jump between them without waiting for the next workshop to start.

6. Do Daily Missions

Fallout 76’s dailies are my favorite part. It’s so simple that I find it a chore to complete them. They also earn decent amounts of XP. They also get bonus caps.

You will know what you should do next time you complete a daily task once you have completed it. This is an easy way to quickly earn XP.

7. Wait For Double XP Weekends

The best and most efficient way to level up in Fallout 76, is to wait for a weekend with double XP.

Stay tuned for announcements and news to find out if Fallout 76 is hosting a double XP weekend. These events are quite common in Fallout 76. It basically gives you the ability to earn twice as much XP for every activity you make in the game.

If you do the Workshop wave during a double-XP event, you’ll be flying past the levels like nothing.

8. Play in a Group

You don’t have to be a solo player, like I am, so it is a good idea to join a group of friends or a public group to enjoy Fallout 76. It allows you to quickly earn XP while doing minimal work.

You can let your group take care of the important tasks, and then follow along to complete the missions.

Are there any other ways to earn XP easily? Please share your ideas in the comments.
