Borderlands was an incredible game, so it’s not surprising that people still play it years later.
With the release of Commander Lilith and the Fight for Sanctuary DLC, more gamers are now racing through Borderlands to level-up their characters and enjoy the new content.
I also created a new character in Borderlands 2 as well as a new campaign. Although the game is still very enjoyable, I wish there was a quicker way to level up my character so that I could quickly reach the endgame content.
I watched a lot of YouTube videos about manipulating glitches within the game. It’s not my style to cheat my game. I continued to play Borderlands 2 as is, and I found something that gives you an amazing advantage in leveling up.
Borderlands 2: Best Way to Farm XP
My method doesn’t involve cheating, manipulating glitches or spending hours on the same missions. This only requires a relic.
This amazing relic gives you a 5.7% increase in experience when you kill enemies. Although it may not seem like much, this little relic helped me increase my XP faster than I ever thought possible.
You will find that enemies become more difficult as you level up and you earn more XP for killing them. This 5.7% boost can be a huge advantage in taking down bosses and other enemies.
You’ll need to complete some of the missions before you can get this relic. You’ll find the side-mission ” the Good, the Bad and the Mordecai” after you have completed the main mission, “A Train to Catch”.
You’ll receive the Moxxi’s Endowment after you finish this mission. This relic gives you an XP boost.
You can simply attach the relic to your character and continue playing the game as normal. Watch the levels increase in difficulty.
Borderlands 2: How to Boost Your Character to Level 30
Another player, Menthex also shared with me that the DLC allows you to boost your character to level 30, jump directly onto the endgame content, and do so without needing to go through all the basics missions.
You can boost a character by going to the Choose Character page. From there, you will see an option called Make a New Level 30 Character which allows you to create a new level.
You can boost characters and skip the main missions, and get to the final mission of defeating Handsome Jack or the Warrior.
I hope this tip has helped you level up your characters while waiting for Borderlands 3 or just for fun.
